Established in 2013 in Los Angeles, ESI is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, non-governmental, non-political corporation. Our efforts are aimed at strengthening education and providing sustainable strategies to protect natural resources and minimize public health risks. ESI partners with NGOs, governments, international agencies, academic institutions, and community leaders to design and implement innovative solutions to environmental problems. As part of our programs, ESI provides environmental education, stakeholder outreach, and capacity building.

Our staff have expertise in environmental science and chemistry; water quality assessments and evaluation of community drinking water quality; river and ocean health programs; resource conservation; and solid and hazardous materials management. We provide technical assistance, project planning, management, and implementation.

ESI staff have collaborated on international environmental projects in the U.S., Armenia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, The Philippines, and Vietnam.
